Research interests

My main interest is the study of the interface between the society and the food and agricultural sectors. Within this field I am interested in public perceptions of risks (e.g. gene technology; zoonoses, pesticides etc), but also perceptions of different production systems. Other interests are the political processes within the food area, e.g. the role of NGOs in the bio-political processes and participatory methods.
